10x Shooting India operates solely as a specialized peer-to-peer marketplace facilitating verified transactions between buyers and sellers of competitive sports shooting gear.
1. Overview & Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using 10x Shooting India ("the Platform"), creating an account, listing pre-owned equipment, or participating in price negotiations, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the Platform.
2. Pre-Owned Seller Guidelines & Requirements
- Ownership & Authenticity: Sellers must be the legal and lawful owner of any equipment listed on the Platform. Stolen, counterfeit, or illegally modified gear is strictly prohibited.
- Aadhaar Card Requirement: Under statutory regulations, any seller listing .177 air rifles or air pistols MUST provide a clear scanned copy of their government-issued Aadhaar card. Listings lacking valid identification will be rejected.
- Accurate Condition Disclosure: Sellers must upload authentic, unedited photographs (up to 8 slots) and clearly declare any cosmetic flaws, mechanical defects, cylinder expiry dates, or service history.
- Marketplace Commission: A standard 10% service commission is applied to successful sales to cover verification, platform maintenance, customer support, and payment settlement.
3. Price Negotiation & Mutual Price Locking
The Platform provides an interactive negotiation drawer enabling buyers and sellers to propose and counter-offer prices:
- Legitimate Offers: Offers submitted represent genuine purchase intent. Frivolous or spam offers may lead to account suspension.
- Price Locking: When either the buyer or seller clicks "Lock Deal Price", that negotiated rate becomes binding for checkout. The product can then be added directly to the cart at the agreed price.
- First-Comer Rule: Multiple buyers may negotiate simultaneously. The first buyer to complete checkout and payment successfully claims the product.
4. Buyer Responsibilities & Compliance
- Sports Use Only: All shooting equipment purchased through 10x Shooting India is intended exclusively for recognized target shooting sports and competitive training.
- Identity Verification: Buyers of .177 match air weapons may be requested to verify identity and confirm adult age (18+) as mandated by law.
- Condition Acknowledgment: As pre-owned items, natural cosmetic wear is expected. Buyers are advised to carefully inspect all 8 photo angles and product condition notes prior to payment.
5. Payment, Shipping & Settlements
Payments can be completed via direct UPI QR code or authorized payment gateways. Upon order placement, funds are held securely until the shipment is dispatched and verified. Once delivery is completed and the inspection window elapses without dispute, seller payout (minus 10% commission) is released to the seller’s verified bank account or UPI ID.
6. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
10x Shooting India disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use or misuse of equipment purchased on the platform. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Thane / Mumbai, Maharashtra.
